In HEIS GLOBAL, we take another step hand in hand with sustainability and the environment, opting for NET ZERO TECH. This helps with decarbonization, through energy efficiency with renewables

Photovoltaic solar panels generate electricity from sunlight, a clean and renewable energy source. By harnessing this renewable energy, we are significantly reducing our dependence on fossil fuels, which are a major source of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions responsible for climate change.

What is the real impact of our actions on reducing CO2 emissions? To calculate this, let’s consider the amount of electricity generated by our solar panel system. With a capacity of 300 kW, we can estimate the amount of clean energy produced over a given period of time.

Assuming an average performance of our solar panels and taking into account local weather conditions, we can calculate that our 300 kW system generates approximately 438,000 kWh of electricity per year. This clean energy replaces the need to use fossil fuel-based energy sources, thereby avoiding the emission of a significant amount of CO2 into the atmosphere.

According to data from the US Department of Energy, on average, the generation of one kWh of electricity from fossil fuels emits approximately 0.92 pounds (0.417 kg) of CO2 into the atmosphere. Using this information, we can calculate how many metric tons of CO2 we have avoided emitting into the atmosphere thanks to our solar panel installation.

By avoiding the emission of 0.417 kg of CO2 per kWh of electricity generated, our solar panel system has avoided the emission of an impressive 404.16 metric tons of CO2 since its installation in 2023.

This achievement is a testament to our commitment to environmental sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint. At HEIS GLOBAL, we will continue to seek innovative ways to minimize our impact on the environment and promote a cleaner and more sustainable future for future generations.
